The performances of African players in major European Leagues is making us proud. Daily, millions of Africans thronged into viewing centers to watch their compatriot, mesmerizing opponents with their deft dribbling skills and soccer wizardry; Serves as talking point in homes, schools, bars and even markets.
The English premier league had the highest viewer ship in my neighborhood. These new found interest had taken a lot of students off books. They talk football and nothing more. THE QUESTION IS: how do we take them back to their books?.
