Sorry to be fussy Stephen but terrible scoring system... Why should predicting a draw be more valuable than predicting a win? And why should predicting that Chelsea might just manage to win at Pride Park be worth three times as much as correctly assessing that Aston Villa will just edge a thriller at Villa Park against Spurs? And correct scores are to a large extent "luck". If Man U. are tonking someone by three or four for example it's pretty random whether they go & get another one or sit back, relax a bit too much & allow the other team to score. What's wrong with two points for a correct prediction (whether a home win, draw or away win) & one bonus point for each correct score? |
