Luton Town

Surely a 30 point deduction is to harsh?they may aswell not play and save themselves for the conference!

Re: Luton Town

I totally agree that to have to start the season with -30 pts is totally unreasonable. The club is in enough trouble already, but this is just making it worse. It is particularly unfair on the new people in charge - they weren't the ones who got the club into this mess! Luton are being punished for the mistakes that the previous ownership made.

Re: Luton Town

Last season, when Leeds had to start on -15, at least they had a good team, so they weren't in danger of being relegated, but Luton doesn't even have a team! I think it's good that lots of prem and champ clubs have apparently offered players on loan, because Luton is in desperate need of them. They don't stand a chance otherwise! And why is it that so many clubs seem to be getting into problems these days? It looks like Bournemouth and Rotherham are going to start the season on -10pts as well, in which case the relegation dogfight in League Two this season may become a very boring affair, especially seeing as only two clubs get relegated from it each year. What is with that anyway? Why do four clubs get relegated from League One but only two from League Two? I have never understood that. Anyway, I won't go on boring you for any longer, I'm sure there are much more interesting articles you could be reading
