Franck Ribery
Voted German player of the year last season.Was outstanding giving assist after assist and scoring great goals as well be his 1st season in the premier club compettion.Sad thing that he is injured but will be back for Bayern in October.

Luca Toni
When you think Toni is 31 years old and this is 1st season in the Champions league.Though he played with smaller clubs he broke out when with Palermo scoring 50 goals in 80 games.Went to Fiorentina won the goalden boot scoring 31 goals in Serie A.But due to Fiorentina being involved in the Calciopoli match fixing scandal.Fiorentina lost 15 points which meant no champions league football though he stayed another season in Florence.He went to Bayern last season and amazing scoring 25 league goals and along with Pogrebnyak was joint top scorer in Uefa cup with 10 goals.Question is how many goals can he get for Bayern in champions league this season?

When you meant to be the player who replaces Junihio which he is there will be pressure on him.He snubbed Real Madrid and Manchester united.A attacking central midfilder with amazing skills can score from anywhere and can take nice free kicks as well.Let see if he can handle the pressure.

Lyon drew 2-2 with Fiorentina
Gilardino 11 and 42 min.
Lyon hit back with
Piquionne in 73 and Benzema in 85th min.
Bayern are home to Lyon
