World Soccer: UEFA Cup 2008-09

With the draw for the first round now complete my opinion has not changed that either the draw itself is rigged or is wrong. My team Everton, who finished above all other English participants have been handed the most difficult tie to progress. Manchester City who only qualified via Fair play have the better of the draw facing Cypriot team Omonia Nicosia. How does a club side who have managed to qualify for Europe in three of the last four seasons get drawn against Belgian Champions, a much stronger league than in Cyprus? Something is very wrong in the structuring of these draws, so much so that even those officials at UEFA dont fully understand how the draw works, ence them reading the rule from autocues.
