Mark Hughes will be delighted that they got off to a winning start at Blackburn. It set down a marker to the rest of the Premier League.

It would have been pleasing from them to see Adebayor get off the mark so quickly as well. Three minutes in and he scores. Not a bad start!

There is, of course, a long way to go. However, the initial signs are good!
