I enjoy the Premier League prediction competition, but sadly very few people took part last season. So, to get more international members involved, I'm launching a competition where every week, you predict the results of the top three games in the Big Five leagues (England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain), but when other big matches occur - PSV-Ajax, Celtic-Rangers, these will also be included.
The Rules: HOME WIN: 1 Point AWAY WIN: 2 Points DRAW: 2 Points CORRECT SCORE: 3 Points (+ points for result) POSTPONEMENT: Points not given until re-arranged game played.
Let me know if you're interested in taking part, competition will start on 15th of August, when the English,French and German leagues will all begin.

Is this still going ahead? I love a good prediction! I often like to go against what many people think though. It is a much more fun way of doing things likes this.
For example, I expect Arsenal to win the Premier League this year. They play such good football and will always have a chance if their key players stay fit.
Anyone willing to go against that?

Excellent stuff - well keep me posted on here! New Premier League season 2moro, can't wait! I think it could, quite possibly, be the best season yet. Manchester City's money and the players they have brought in should shake things up quite a bit!

I missed it! Annoying because I had Arsenal down as winning big at Everton - they are still my pick for the title. As long as Denilson, Diaby etc step up their game throughout the season, they can do it.
I will predict next week on here!

Great to see Stephen Woodside and steve31 back, I'll have things better organised this week. The Bundesliga looks the most exciting league, certainly the least predictable!

Good stuff. I will certainly be involved this week. When are you likely to stick the games up on here?
There isn't too many eye-catching games in the Premier League this weekend though, it has to be said. West Ham v Tottenham probably the pick on Sunday.

Thought Liverpool would run away with the league after all United's problems, so it's a major surprise to see them struggling. Bayern fans will nearly want Klinsmann back at this stage.
