Am I the only one who is getting totally fed up with Glanville constantly using World Soccer to carry on his personal Vendetta with David Beckham.
Even in aa article which had nothing to do with Beckham, he still managed to introduce a personal attack on him.
In his column in the latest issue of World Soccer he talks about the younger, quicker wingers waiting to take his place, but with the exception of James Milner, all have failed to impress. Walcott is too easily injured,& has had just one decent game in an England shirt, Wright-Phillips is too inconsistent & Downing, when he is fit has been a waste of space in an England shirt.

Come on Brian,I love most of what you write, but these constant attacks on Beckham are fast becoming a pain.

Fed up with Brian Glanville's personal crusade to attack David Beckham at every opportunity

No, you're not the only one.

I'm not a fan of Beckham, but there's only so much that can be said about Capello's continual inclusion of him in his England squads. It's getting ridiculous and a little tiresome the number of references Brian Glanville makes to Beckham.

He is only saying it because no-one else does, like his criticisms of the Premier "greed is good" League. They are made for the love of the game, both Beckham and the EPL are examples of the distortion of the game. That is not to say this distortion does not happen in other countries, it's just that the EPL has the highest visibility of greed - as does Beckham, therefore he is targeted. However I believe even Brian Glanville has said it would be wrong of Capello to not include him in the England squad, for all the good work he has done as an ambassador for Englands World Cup hosting bid.
Shame about the wasted footballing talent though.
