Please oh please let Everton get a home draw in the Carling cup Quarter Final against Liverpool with Bill Kenwright being the referee. Kerchinnnnng! Ok the second option involving money will do with Moyesey having a key to the referee's changing room, catch my drift?  .

Agreed in some respects, as my man of the match was going to Arteta also, however even though Anichebe was on the field of play for the last 15 minutes, it was he that was a major catalyst in giving Everton a stranglehold on the game. Arteta played well but many of his crosses were poor. I just gave Anichebe the nod simply based on his overall impact of the final outcome. I do see were you are coming from though.

another fine away performance!is anyone noticing the one touch passing through midfield especially with osman and arteta.the germans didnt know what to do when anichebe came on as he ran round a bit unlike the yak(a bit harsh)!not!exciting times at the moment bring on chelsea minus cech and terry!who knows?hope arteta is fit as he is the main man and with cahill the midfield is very strong and full of potential goals!roman has probably paid the ref already!but we can dream

Not suprising that Chelsea away will be a tough test on sunday for Moyes' men. It is difficult enough gaining points at the bridge and with Chelsea having 48 hours extra rest time than Everton, this may make the task even more tricky. Saying that, Everton always seem to take a big scalp most seasons, last term it was Liverpool and Arsenal at home and lets face it, we owe one to Chelsea as last season we had a perfectly good goal dissallowed in the dying moments at Stamford Bridge that would have put the toffees 2-1 up. Not to mention the three points we almost won at Goodison, only for wonder goals by Drogba and Lampard. I am expecting a defeat but only by a single goal, but in this game you just never know, and with Everton on a run of five wins on the bounce and eight wins in ten, with that defeat at home to Liverpool included which i wont go into, Everton will be full of confidence.

i knew they would get something out of the game.the overhead kick by cahill was quite wonderful to say the least!
