I think it'll be interesting to see how Amauri does at Juventus, having been leading the line very well at the relatively small Palermo. Maybe it will even finally put him on the radar of the Brazilian and Italian national teams, both of which he is eligible for.
I am looking forward to seeing how Modric and dos Santos fare at Spurs, although I agree with a previous post in that having top creative midfielders is all very well, but it does appear that they will need to invest in a couple of new strikers if they are going to try and break into the top four again.
Speaking of Spurs strikers, does anyone else think that the reported £20m asking price for Robbie Keane seems a little high? Yes he's a good striker, but I personally think he's worth £5m-£6m less. Similarly, I don't agree with Martin O'Neill's valuation of Gareth Barry, especially now that is seems impossible for the midfielder to play for Villa again, judging by the reception he apparently got in a friendly against Walsall.
On the subject of Deco, I think he'll struggle in the Premier League. My opinion of him improved a little after some of his performances for Portugal in the Euros, especially against the Czechs, but I still don't think that he'll be able to adapt to the physical nature of English football.
