Hi, I'm Simon, otherwise known as Righteous1. I am 25 years old and a fan of my local team Peterborough United of English League 2 (4th division, I know, silly isn't it!).
I go and watch 'the posh' regularly and we have had a bit more excitement this season thank to a mega bucks new owner(A 'Wimpy' to Roman Abramovich's 'McDonalds' if you like), and still harbour hopes of a play off place. We are managed by Sir Alex Ferguson's son, Darren.
I also support (2 teams?, I know sacrilige) the mighty Liverpool. I am a glory hunter in the respect that I started supporting them as an 80's kid because they used to win everything, but I consider myself as passionate as one can be as a long distance fan and watch every game from the comfort of my sofa, (though I have seen them an Anfield, honest!). Luckily Peterborough and Liverpool rarely meet, in fact just once in history, I was in the posh end in 1991 when the posh amazingly pulled off a 1-0 victory. Unbridled joy on one hand tempered with abject embarrasment on the other.
I have read World Soccer for a few years now, but am new to the forum, having only recently discovered a new avenue to endlessly discuss football and annoy my fiance.
