After breaking Scotland’s 43-year-old clean sheet record set by Aberdeen’s Bobby Clark, Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster had set his sights on eclipsing Edwin Van der Sar’s British record of 1311 minutes set in 2008-09.
However, after reaching 1256 minutes, Forster was beaten by an amazing strike by Jonny Hayes.
If a record is going to end, it might as well be to goal as good as this.
Aberdeen went on to win the match 2-1, to reduce Celtic’s lead at the top of the SPL to 21 points.
