Capello brands Torres a cheat
October 2, 2006Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has labelled Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres a 'cheat' for his part in Sergio Ramos' dismissal in Sunday's Madrid derby.
The Galacticos were forced to play the final half hour of the match a man short after Ramos was sent off for collecting his second yellow card.
The Spain international went to the ground clutching his face despite minimal contact from Ramos.
"Torres is a cheat and he must be punished," stated Capello. "He has deceived the referee and it is not fair."
