Internazionale have reportedly made an offer of €6million (£4million) to Barcelona for playmaker Deco.
According to reports in Italy the runaway Serie A leaders regard the former Porto player as the ideal replacement for Portuguese compatriot, Luis Figo, who will leave the club at the end of the season.
Deco has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou before this season when he was rumoured to be interesting Chelsea as part of a swap deal involving Frank Lampard.
Barca, though, are understood to be preparing an offer of a new contract which could tie him to the club until 2010.
