Dani Alves’ agent claims several clubs are after the right-back, with Chelsea thought to be one of the sides keeping tabs on his form.
The 27-year-old Barcelona defender has failed to agree new terms at the Camp Nou although talks are set to continue.
His current deal with the Catalan club is set to expire in June 2012 and Premier League champions Chelsea are reported to be considering an offer for the Brazilian.
Alves’ agent Joaquin Macanas wants Barca to give his client a contract his status deserves.
“Dani is one of the best defenders in the world and the big clubs desire his services,” Macanas said.
“We only ask that Barca value him in reality for his work and development during these years.”
