Ronaldinho’s brother and agent has admitted the Brazilian is going through a tough spell but has played down reports that he is looking to leave Barcelona.
The 27-year-old has struggled to produce his best form so far this season and has been singled out for criticism by some Barca supporters.
There have been rumours that he could be on his way out of Camp Nou, with Chelsea reportedly keen to sign him.
But Ronaldinho’s agent Roberto De Assis is confident the speculation will disapppear once he rediscovers his best form.
“I’m sure that a campaign exists against Ronaldinho,” De Assis told The Mirror.
“He is doing everything he can in order to return to his best and soon he will see the fruits of his hard work. He will be at a high level again soon.
“I have read many absurd stories about his nightlife and I do not want to comment on them.
“Ronaldinho still has four years on his contract at Barcelona and is calm.”
