Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has given his a vote of confidence to under-fire coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Cagliari are currently bottom of the Serie A table having lost their first four games of the season.
Cellino says he will review the situation in January, but expects Cagliari to pick up their first points away to Lecce this weekend.
“We will continue with our coach and see where we are at the end of the first half of season,” he told Corriere dello Sport.
“Allegri has my faith. I have no intention to send him away. He will stay and on Sunday we will get a result at Lecce.”
