Barcelona defender Dani Alves has denied reports linking him with a summer move to Chelsea.
Reports on Tuesday claimed Chelsea were lining up a swoop for the Brazilian full-back, but the 25-year-old’s media representatives have moved to dismiss the speculation.
“Daniel Alves knows about the interest of the London club today through the article in the … tabloid,” read the statement.
“A denial is important in order to not give the wrong impression on this matter.”
Alves is in the first year of a four-year contract at Barca which includes a release clause of €90million.
