Sevilla full-back Daniel Alves, who has been linked with a summer move to Liverpool, insists he is no rush to quit the UEFA Cup winners.

“There are only offers, nothing certain, and I have to study them,” said the 23-year-old Brazilian.

“I always want to improve and continue to grow as a player and if I have to leave I will.

“But if I see that my improvement can happen in Sevilla then I will continue a few years more here.”

Alves helped Sevilla to victory in the Uefa Cup this season and Liverpool are reported to have made a £7m bid for his services.

“They (Liverpool) have made an offer and the interest is there, the truth is that they are a strong team which has very good players and a Spanish coach,” added Alves.

“Moreover, they are one of the best clubs in Europe, and last season they won the Champions League and very few teams have achieved that. They are a big club.

“But at this time I am at Sevilla and I only want to go on holiday to Brazil.”
