Barcelona defender Dani Alves has stated that he want to end the uncertainty surrounding his his future by agreeing a new contract.
The Brazilian’s current deal is due to expire at the end of next season and talks over an extension have not been agreed.
Alves has been linked with a move to Manchester City, but the 27-year-old is keen on remaining at the Camp Nou.
“It is very difficult to find a big club like Barcelona. I’m experiencing things I never thought I would, I love this club,” he told Barca TV.
“That’s why I will fight with all my strength to stay here because it is my dream.
“My family and I are very happy in Barcelona and it is a privilege for any footballer to be at this club.”
