Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that he is interested in signing David Beckham.
“We will have some money to spend in the summer and if there was a chance to sign David Beckham, we would look at it,” Wenger told the News of the World.
“If the situation arises that it is possible, why not?”
Last month, Beckham played down reports of a move back to England, claiming he was happy with life in Spain.
“I’ve said many times that I’m very happy in Madrid. My life is very happy,” he said.
“I have two years left on my contract and I want to finish my career playing football for Real Madrid.”
