Manchester City haven’t won at Anfield since 2003 but the big spenders may never have a better chance of beating under-fire Liverpool – see all the BestPrice betting here.

Julio Baptista’s agent has dismissed reports reports linking his client with a move to Tottenham.

The Brazil international has struggled to hold down first-team football at Roma this season, prompting speculation of a potential switch in the January transfer window.

Spurs were believed to be interested in Baptista over the summer and rumours of a move to White Hart Lane have resurfaced.

Baptista’s agent has been quick to distance his client from such a move.

“There is no truth in these reports claiming he is set for an exchange in January,” Herminio Menendez told romannews.eu.

“Julio is currently away with the national side. Everything he has said points to a future in Rome.”
