Man Utd will be hoping to keep up the pressure on the Premier League top two, Chelsea & Liverpool, when they travel to Aston Villa this Saturday evening.

Bayern Munich have agreed to sign USA international Landon Donovan on loan.

LA Galaxy’s Donovan will join Bayern in the next transfer window as he looks to maintain his fitness during the Major League Soccer close-season.

“The goal will be to see if we can get him long-term, at least until the end of the season,” Bayern coach Jurgen Klinsmann told the club’s official website.

Donovan, 26, follows the likes of team-mate David Beckham, who will join up with Milan in January, in seeking a move rather than taking a break from the game.
