Tottenham, who are still dangerously close to the relegation places, face a tricky trip to Hull in the Premier League tonight!

David Beckham remains hopeful of securing a permanent move to Milan, but he admits he is in the dark about his future plans.

The midfielder is due to return to Los Angeles Galaxy when his loan spell expires next month but Milan are looking to keep him.

“There is no news, nothing has changed,” he confirmed. “Things are still going on and sometimes no news may be good news.

“We’ll have to wait and see. These things take time sometimes and of course it’s going to. It could go down to the last few days.

“I hope it gets sorted out quickly because I enjoy concentrating on my football and I’ve done that so far and so I’ll continue doing that.”

Beckham wants to stay with the Italian club to improve his chances of going to the World Cup with England.

Asked if he risks losing his England place if he returns to America, Beckham replied: “Of course, people have said that, it’s been in the news that people have said that.

“But I’ve been at the Galaxy for a year and a half now and I’ve managed to stay in the England team. We’ll see.”

Beckham added: “I’m happy in Milan and I’ve been happy since I arrived.

“Everybody has been great and I enjoy playing at the San Siro and the whole club has made me feel so welcome.

“Everybody’s been nice to me and I am enjoying my football and when I am enjoying my football, I am happy.”
