Benfica have agreed a loan deal with Coimbra for Brazilian striker Augusto Marcel until the end of the season.
Benfica will have the option to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
“It is an honour to be part of a big club like Benfica. I plan to work with humility, respect my teammates and find my place,” he told reporters.
Marcel has scored nine times this season for Academica.
