The agent of Karim Benzema has declared that the striker will not be leaving Real Madrid in the January transfer window.
Benzema’s future has been the subject of much speculation after a disappointing first season in Spain following his move from Lyon last summer. He started only 14 La Liga games for Real last season, scoring eight goals.
Juventus, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked with a move for the 22-year-old, but it seems his agent is not interested in securing a deal for his player.
“The future of Karim Benzema will be at Real Madrid,” Karim Djaziri told calciomercato.com.
“Are Juventus, Manchester United and Liverpool close to a deal? I categorically deny these rumours.
“He is a Real Madrid player and will remain a Real Madrid player.”
