With speculation rife about the future of Jouquin, coach Lorenzo Serra Ferrer has identified Martins as a possible replacement.
“I believe that this club can make a jump in quality next season,” claimed Serra Ferrer.
Martins has scored 13 goals in 19 appearances in all competitions this term. However, he has yet to establish himself as a regular starter for Inter and he may decide to move rather than spend another season langushing onn the bench.
