Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce has released 10 players including several significant international signings.
The released men, including French defender David Sommeil, on-loan Dutch forward Kiki Musampa, from Atletico Madrid, and Spanish midfielder Albert Riera, from Espanyol.
Pearce has also released Dutch reserve goalkeeper Geert de Vlieger, Danish defender Mikkel Bischoff and Finnish midfielder Tuomas Haapala.
After a promising start to the season, City’s form collapsed in the second half of the campaign, eventually finishing in 15th place in the Premier League.
