Blackburn Rovers have signed Switzerland international Johann Vogel on a free transfer.
Vogel has been training with Rovers for the past fortnight after leaving Spanish side Real Betis in December.
He was linked with Everton Sunderland at the start of the season, but the deal fell through, and he has now secured a contract with Mark Hughes’ outfit.
The 31-year-old has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal at Ewood Park, with the option of a further 12 months.
