Ukraine coach Oleg Blokhin has revealed he would resign if his team failed to qualify for the Euro 2008 qualifiers.
“If we do not fulfil this job ahead of us, I will resign,” Blokhin told reporters ahead of their qualifier away to group leaders Scotland on Saturday.
Ukraine, who played at the World Cup for the first time last year, lost 2-1 at home to Italy in September leaving them in fourth place eight points adrift of the Scots in Group B.
