La Liga side, Espanyol have completed the signing of French international Alain Boghossian.
The French midfielder’s contract with Serie A side, Parma had expired and anumber of clubs had moved to seal his signature.
The 31-year-old had opted for a move to Spain after being involved in talks with Sunderland, Torino and Olympiakos.
Bohossian has signed a two-year deall with the Barcelona-based club, whose ambition he admires.
“They really want to build a good team,” he said. “This is a serious club.”
