Bolton Wanderers have agreed a one-year loan deal with Juventus for Igor Tudor.

The Croatian international is now discussing personal the Premiership club .

Chairman Phil Gartside has confirmed a deal had been stuck and has not ruled out further signings before the transfer window closes.

“We have agreed it with Juventus and we have been talking to the player for a couple of days,” explained Gartside.

“It’s just a question of getting him to Bolton and telling him what Bolton is all about and if we can do that then we will have got a good signing.

“He has three years on his contract and Juventus are not keen to let him out on a permanent deal but they are quite prepared to let him out on a loan basis.

“We’ve got one or two others still on the list. We’ve had a good summer in terms of signings, we’ve managed to retain the rest of squad too, including Jay-Jay Okocha.”
