Portuguese Premier League club Braga have fired coach Jorge Costa after a run of poor results.
On a statement on the club’s web site it was confirmed that officials would take over coaching duties until a successor was found, they said.
Costa, a former international defender, becomes the fourth managerial departure in the top flight this season.
Braga are seventh in the 16-team standings with 11 points from eight matches.
