Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is annoyed at reports linking him with a move to Manchester City.
City were rumoured to be considering a €35million offer to sign the 32-year-old keeper after this summer’s World Cup.
However, Buffon’s agent Silvano Martina has dismissed the reports.
“Gigi (Buffon) is very annoyed because those rumours have no foundation,” he told Corriere dello Sport.
Buffon is currently sidelined with an injury and is expected to return at the end of the month.
But Martina says he will not be rushed back, despite an injury to No.2 Alex Manninger.
He added: “Gigi will return at the end of this month and certainly he doesn’t speed up timing because of Manninger’s injury.”
