Juventus coach Fabio Capello says his dream is to coach England.

“Within three years I will pack in coaching at club level and then I want to realise the dream I have always had inside me – England,” Capello told L’Expresso magazine.

England are on the lookout for a new coach to replace Swede Sven-Goran Eriksson who will stand down after this summer’s World Cup finals.

Capello, who won league titles with Milan and Roma, has recently been linked with a return to Real Madrid, although he insists he will honour his contract with Juventus which has another 12 months to run.

The coach said that if he succeeded in coaching England, he would then be happy to retire.

“After that I might get away from it all. I have bought a house on (the island of) Pantelleria for that reason,” he said.
