Fabio Capello has not ruled out the possibility of David Beckham playing for Real Madrid again this season.
After Beckham signed a deal to join MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy last week, Capello declared Beckham’s Real career to be at an end.
However, the Italian coach appears to have softened his stance and admits that the door remains ajar for the former England captain.
“You can’t discard anything,” said Capello at a news conference.
“At the moment this is the line we have decided to follow, but you have to be flexible.
“He is a great professional and always shows enthusiasm in training.
“Ideas can be changed, but it will depend on both the player and the coach.”
