Fabio Capello has insisted that he has no intention of quitting his England post England in order to succeed Jose Mourinho at Inter.

The England boss has been linked with the newly-crowned European champions as they search for a new manager if, as expected, Mourinho leaves to join Real Madrid.

Capello, who coached rivals Milan has been mentioned as a candidate, along with Liverpool’s Rafa Benitez.

But Capello does not want to leave England, saying: “I have a contract with the Football Association and the only way it will finish is if they decide to sack me.

“I like my job, I like this country and I don’t think about my future. My future is about tomorrow and the World Cup.”

“I see my name linked with a lot of jobs in Italy and in Spain, but I’m happy here with the FA.”
