It’s UEFA Cup night on Channel Five tonight with three back-to-back games. Hapoel Tel Aviv v Spurs, Bayern v Bolton, Nurnberg v Everton.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech could be out for up to a month after suffering a calf injury during the Champions League game against Schalke.

Cech will miss Sunday’s Premier League match at home to Everton and could also miss the Czech Republic’s last two Euro 2008 qualifiers.

Cech came off at halftime in Tuesday’s goalless draw in Germany on Tuesday and Chelsea said on their web site that Cech “looks set to miss Sunday’s game against Everton…A scan today (Wednesday) revealed the Czech international has a small tear in his calf muscle.”

Cech said on his own web site: “I am very disappointed to be missing the next few games for both Chelsea and for my country.”
