Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has admitted he was approached by an Italian club during the summer.
The Spaniard has been linked with a return to Barcelona – from whom Arsenal lured the youngster in 2003 – while Serie A outfit Milan are also believed to be admirers of the player.
“Yes, it’s true. I did have offers from an Italian side which were interesting from an economical point of view,” Fabregas told Sport.es.
“However, nothing really happened after that.”
