Avram Grant has 3 games to save his job and the bookmakers have him odds-on favourite to go next

Holders Internazionale will continue their Champions League defence against Bayern Munich after the round of 16 draw was made in Nyon, Switzerland in a repeat of last season’s final.

Rafael Benítez’s side finished second in Group A and have been drawn to meet the Group E winners Bayern, whom they beat 2-0 in Madrid seven months ago.

There will also be a rematch of the 2006 final as Barcelona were again paired with Arsenal, who they eliminated in last season’s quarter-finals.

Real Madrid, who have lost in the last 16 for six successive seasons, take on the side who eliminated them from the 2009-10 competition, Lyon – the French side having reached the semi-finals for the first time last term.

Seven-time European champions Milan will face Tottenham Hotspur while French titleholders Marseille will meet Manchester United, winners in 2008 and finalists the following year.

Valencia, runners-up in 2000 and 2001, take on Schalke and Chelsea face FC Copenhagen, the first Danish team to progress from the group stage. In the round’s other game, Shakhtar Donetsk, also making their maiden appearance in the round of 16, will play Roma.
