Olympiakos v Rosenborg

Rosenborg – Norwegian Champions for the previous 13 seasons- will be looking to put the travails of this term, briefly at least, out of their minds, as they travel to Greece to face Olympiakos.

With just six games of their domestic season remaining, they now find themselves embroiled in a relegation battle, that could herald ruin for the club.

Olympiakos, though, will prove difficult opponents, particularly away from home.

Coached by former Roseborg player Trond Sollied, they are currently league champions in Greece, and have made a coruscating start to this season’s campaign.

Furthermore, Brazilian forward Rivaldo is expected to return for the home side, after missing their 5-0 demolition of Panionios on Saturday with a toe injury, replacing Kafes.

The visitors meanwhile, welcome back Espen Johnson, who has recovered from a twisted knee.
