Hernan Crespo, who is spending the season on loan at Milan, has claimed that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho wants to keep him at Stamford Bridge.

The Argentinian has been scoring regularly in Italy and recently scored in both legs to help knock Manchester United out of Europe’s the Champions League.

According to Crespo, Mourinho rang to congratulate him on his performance against United, and inform him that he he stilll has a role to play at Stamford Bridge.

“Mourinho rang me to congratulate me after my goals against United,” Crespo said.

“He told me he does not intend to let me go in the summer and will keep a close eye on what I am doing at Milan.”
