Chelsea have made their third signing of the transfer window, paying €4m to Chilean club Audax Italiano for teenage striker Franco Di Santo.
The 18-year-old arrives at Stamford Bridge from Chilean side Audax Italiano for an undisclosed fee.
The 18-year-old, who has played for Argentina at Under-20 level, has agreed a four-and-a-half year contract at Stamford Bridge.
He becomes Avram Grant’s third recruit this month, following the arrivals of striker Nicolas Anelka, from Bolton Wanderers, and Branislav Ivanovic from Lokomotiv Moscow.
