Chelsea make the trip to Italy to face Roma in the Champions League, knowing that a win will put them on 10 points.

Chievo have fired coach Giuseppe Iachini and replaced him with former Parma boss Domenico Di Carlo.

The promoted club lost 3-0 at Palermo on Sunday and lie third from bottom with six points from 10 games.

“Chievo Verona announce that Giuseppe Iachini has been relieved of his duties. Coaching the first team will be entrusted to Domenico Di Carlo,” said a statement on the club website (www.chievoverona.it).

Di Carlo was sacked by Parma in March, two months before the club were relegated from Serie A.

Fellow strugglers Bologna dismissed Daniele Arrigoni on Monday and replaced him with former Lazio and Serbia defender Sinisa Mihajlovic, who was assistant manager at champions Inter last season.
