There are conflicting reports about the future of Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires, with speculation suggesting he could be set for a move to Fenerbahce or Juventus.

Turkish club Galatasaray have reportedly offered Pires an €8m three-year deal.

Pires, who has a year left on his contract with the London club, could be leaving Arsenal because he wants a new two-year deal but the English Premiership side will only offer 12-months.

Meanwhile, there have been reports in Engand that representatives of Juventus have flown to London to open discussions withe French player.

Arsenal, who themselves are interested in Juve’s Stephen Appiah, may be tempted by a part-exchange deal for a player who will be out of contract in 12 months time.
