Barcelona midfielder Deco is concerned by the prospect of facing an Arsenal defence which has not conceded a goal in their last ten Champions League matches.

“The fact they have let in very few goals does not say much to me,” Deco said.

“Chelsea were also on a long run without losing at Stamford Bridge and we won there.”

However, the former Porto schemer knows that Barcelona are in for a tough encounter in Paris.

“We cannot tell people not to get excited after so many years without reaching the final,” he continued.

“But for the players it is different. It is a difficult match and we are not getting carried away.

“To say that we are better or superior will not help.

“Arsenal reached the final on merit. I like their team in general, they have a very strong midfield and are dangerous on the counter-attack.

“Our job is to play normally and remain calm. We have to stay totally focused and not commit any errors.

“Last season we moved forward too quickly, but we learned and if we can carry on playing like we have been then we have the chance to make our dream come true.”

Deco is the only member of the Barcelona squad to have won the trophy before, in 2004 with Porto.
