Real Madrid coach Vicente Del Bosque has dismissed reports that the European champions are in crisis following two successive disappointing performances.

Real were beaten 2-0 by Racing Santander athe weekend, tocontinue their miserable run of form away from home in La Liga, and were held 2-2 at home to AEK Athens in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Real have not won an away match in Spanish football since last March and their Champions League form has been fitful in recent weeks, with successive draws against AEK. However, del Bosque remains unconcerned by their recent form, arguing that his side should be judged over the course of a season.

“We played badly in Santander,” admitted Del Bosque. “But you have to view that as a one-off.

“We weren’tfantastic against AEK, but you can’t talk about a loss of form. We have a lot of games to play and now everyone is talking about crisis.

“There is no loss of form, no crisis or anything, all we are seeing is something that happens throughout a season,” he added in Marca.
