Juventus manager Luigi Del Neri has no intention of resigning, despite the club’s disappointing campaign.
The Italian side sit seventh in Serie A following Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat to Bologna and the pressure on Del Neri is mounting.
The Juventus boss told Sky Italia: “I go forward (with Juventus), absolutely.
“The defeat against Bologna is difficult to comment upon. We are sorry. This season has been a year of tension and suffering.”
Del Neri is convinced that he still enjoys the support of his players and has used the example of the mid-February win over Inter to explain his argument.
He said: “I can’t say I have lost the team in (the space of) two weeks.”
