Alessandro Del Piero has admitted he is delighted with both Juventus’ and his own start to the new season.
The playmaker, who endured plenty of criticism over the summer following his poor displays for Italy at Euro 2004, has begun the new campaign in impressive fashion.
”We are on the right way and the third consecutive win is the right confirmation of this,” Del Piero told his website.
”Three points are good for our standing and for the conviction and enthusiasm they give us.
”And for my personal satisfaction, the first goal in the championship is also my first against Sampdoria at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.”
