Alessandro Del Piero insists he is not concerned about his contract situation at Juventus.
The Juve icon’s current contract expires next summer and as yet no new deal has been agreed.
Del Piero has been linked with a move to America, but the 35-year-old says he is not thing too far ahead at the moment.
“In all honesty, I am relaxed about the whole issue of my contract and my future,” wrote Del Piero in a Facebook chat session with his fans.
“I have no intention of running away from this issue, but really at this moment my future is only the next game. I want to win.
“As for the rest, we need to leave time for things to mature, without rushing them. I haven’t thought of what to do after I retire, as I am still too caught up in the pitch.”
The 2006 World Cup winner also revealed he would never rule out a possible return to the national side despite falling out of favour in recent years.
“I’d never say no to the national team. It’s an ambition matter,” he added.
